Lead times & delivery

What happens if the announced lead time is not met?

Our lead-time guarantee applies: beyond a short tolerance margin, an increasing discount is applied per working day of delay, up to a cap, refunded without any action on your part. We chase the manufacturer and keep you informed, but we cannot act in its place.

The lead time shown before payment is a commitment, not a vague estimate. If it is exceeded, the lead-time guarantee triggers automatically: the rule in force (tolerance margin, discount per working day, cap) is published on that page and applied at the delivery date of the digital copy.

In practice:

  • we chase the manufacturer from the due date and at every interim step;
  • you are told by e-mail about the delay and the new expected date;
  • the discount is calculated at delivery and refunded to your payment method, with no claim to file.

If the delay becomes unreasonable or the manufacturer ends up refusing, you can request cancellation: the refund is then in full. What we cannot do is produce the certificate ourselves: only the manufacturer is entitled to.
