What we actually do
You give us a VIN and a make. We identify the right type-approval department — manufacturer, national importer or converter —, file the request, chase it, check the document we receive, then send it to you as a digital copy and, if you chose it, as a paper original.
The document is issued and signed by the manufacturer. We are an intermediary, not an approval authority: nobody in this business can “produce” a Certificate of Conformity.
What we do not do
- We do not sell a document that is not needed: if your foreign registration document carries fields D.2 and K, we say so.
- We do not issue an in-house attestation presented as a COC — a practice the French consumer authority has sanctioned in this sector.
- We do not promise to shorten the manufacturer’s lead time. We shorten ours, and we publish it.
Our commitments, and how to check them
- Price and lead time shown before payment, by make, with the estimated delivery date.
- Lead-time guarantee: past the announced date, compensation is automatic, with no claim from you.
- Full refund if the manufacturer cannot issue the document.
- On-time rate published on the reviews page, including when it is not flattering.
Who publishes this site
Homologa is a brand of ELEKO SARL, registered with the Paris trade register, whose office is at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris. The legal notice details the publisher, the host and the publication director.
The service is young: we would rather publish modest, real figures than invented references. The indicators below are computed live from our delivered orders.
