Article 1 — The principle
The lead time shown on the brand page and in the order flow is not a market average: it comes from the lead times we actually record on our orders, make by make, recalculated each time a certificate arrives. The lead-time barometer publishes those figures.
That lead time appears on your order confirmation as a promised date. That date is what counts.
Article 2 — How the lead time is counted
The clock starts at the later of two events: payment clearing and receipt of a complete file (valid VIN and legible supporting documents).
It is counted in working days: Saturdays, Sundays and French public holidays are excluded. The promised date is calculated automatically and displayed in plain language.
Article 3 — What happens if we are late
As soon as the promised date is exceeded by more than the grace period, we:
- e-mail you with the reason and a new estimate;
- open a claim on your order, visible in your customer area;
- apply the corresponding goodwill gesture, as a credit note or a partial refund.
The grace period and the amount are set at service level and restated on your order confirmation. Nothing is required from you.
Article 4 — What the guarantee does not cover
- Incomplete file or wrong VIN: the clock has not started.
- No answer from the Customer to a request for further information.
- Vehicles for which the manufacturer refuses or is unable to issue a document: the refund policy applies instead.
- Force majeure, industrial action or an incident affecting the manufacturer, documented and communicated.
Article 5 — Combination and claims
The goodwill gesture cannot be combined with a full refund for impossibility. If the guarantee was not applied and you believe it should have been, write to contact@homologa.eu with your order reference: we review the file within 5 working days.
