Why a COC for an imported Opel Grandland?
A Opel Grandland bought in another EU country must be linked to its approved type before it can be registered. The COC gives the authority the data the foreign registration document does not always carry: type-variant-version (D.2), approval number (K), CO₂ emissions, masses, number of seats.

Versions and common pitfalls on a Grandland
A Opel Grandland exists in many versions depending on year, engine and country of first sale. The certificate describes the exact version that left the factory, identified by the VIN — not the one in the advert. Vehicle age and certificate availability
The Opel Grandland has been sold in Europe since 2017. Manufacturers are only required to keep conformity data for ten years after production (art. 36 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858): for an older unit we check actual availability before charging and refund in full if the document cannot be obtained.
